KOACH HUMOR

The Bear

A man decides to go for pre-Shabbat walk in the woods. Losing his direction, he ends up lost in the woods. As the night comes, the man begins to panic, worried that he'll never get out of the woods. All of a sudden he sees a bear off in the distance.

The man begins to pray to God to save him -- and as the bear nears he sees the bear is wearing a tallit and a kippah.

The man is amazed--it’s a Jewish bear!

"Thank you, God -- that out of all the bears in the wilderness the one bear I find is a Jewish bear -- I'm saved."

But then he realizes the bear is also saying a prayer: "Hamotzi lechem min ha’aretz.*"

*"Who brings forth bread from the earth." Clearly, the bear was planning on a sandwich!
