Views from JewsKOACH on Campus ezine is adding a new feature. Each month there will be a quote from a Jewish source and we will be accepting submissions of photographs or other visual art forms which interpret the quote. The vision behind this is to be able to incorporate other forms of expression into the ezine and enable people to contribute in other ways. We may be the People of the Book, but we express ourselves with more than words. This month we present a photo from KOC Assistant Editor Shira Novack (Binghamton) visualizing the phrase Repentance, prayer and charitable acts avert the sternness of the decree. (High Holiday liturgy, Musaf) ![]() Want to express yourself? For the Heshvan issue we'll look at this verse: I have set My bow in the clouds, and it shall serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. (Genesis 9:13) Submissions should be sent to Shira Novack (kocassteditor@koach.org), no later than October 5. All submissions become the property of KOACH. [Posted 9/18/09]
